 This
really is a special car, and not only because of its spectacular
condition. Having been in the family for some 40 years, it has been
used for many of our own family weddings, both before and after the
birth of Rye Classics.
The top picture is an old one, taken on a
touring holiday in Scotland. Petrol was a great deal cheaper in those
days. "Now, I'm sure there was a caravan attached to the back when we
parked here."
The tables that fold down from the back of the
front seats conceal a mirror ... very useful if you want to check that
you don't have some breakfast stuck in your teeth.
